This design is based around a stunning studio portrait of Anita Page who was known as 'The Most Beautiful Face in Hollywood' during the last years of the silent screen and the first years of the talkies. She received record amounts of fan mail and her admirers included Benito Mussolini who reportedly sent her over 100 letters. I have added a glittery background and a Deco-style border to complete the design.The design is printed with eco-friendly water-based inks on cotton-linen canvas and has a golden lining which gives a lovely glow when the lamp is on.
The lamp shade is 20cm in diameter and 19cm in height. Please choose 'pendant' style if you'd like to hang it from the ceiling or 'lamp' style if you'd like to use it with a lamp base. It will fit the standard bayonet cap lamp holder. This is the most common type of fitting in the UK. It can also be used with Edison Screw lamp holders which are the most common in Europe. Low energy bulbs are recommended.
